Disassembly - Part 17 - Ventilation

3/7/2007

Removal of the ventilation under the cowl/dash is pretty straight forward.  I started with removing the flexible hoses first.  Then you can work on removing the defroster vents.  Then move into the two air valves that direct air flow, then onto the air intake manifold.

The photos below are prior to removal.

I pretty much finished up the removal.  Each air flow valve box (not sure what you really call them) is the direct path for stuff that falls down the defroster vents.  There is little circle clips (which are a pain in the ass to remove) hold those together.  I when I took the passenger side apart, I found an old BIC pen and a "1776 Bicentennial" pencil.

As they lay in the box.
