8/22/2005 - 8/24/2005

Pulled both doors off.  Generally went well.  Some missing hardware.  List of known issues...

bulletNo vapor shield so fiber boards are warped.
bulletMissing seals on both sides of windows
bulletMissing screws to attach boards to door
bulletMaybe some missing hardware for bottom of front rail on one of the doors?
bulletDriver door exterior handle has issues with bolt spun in pot metal.  New handle needed?
bulletNeed to drill out holes and install passenger mirror.
bulletNeed to get passenger mirror
bulletSome small rust spots on seals around door.
bulletRollers for window rails can be easy to loose.

Photos...

Right door hinges.

Right door complete.

Note the following...

bulletRubber grommet/sleeve for rod from interior handle to latch.  Are those cheap enough to get new?
bulletRubber grommet for bottom of crank track.
bulletAdjuster screw for front rail was different on each side.  Which side is correct?

Note the following...

bulletPlastic sockets that allow fiber board to snap into place.
bulletSeal
bulletScrew for door handle.

Note the following...

bulletRubber grommet for window crank track.  Track just slides into grommet.  I think grommet has "D" shape.
bulletAdjustment screw for window rail.

Note the following...

bulletSame screws that hold the front rail and window in lace.  One closest to the front is just a metal bar that is attached to rubber seal on window?
